  • A set of NOTCHED glass plates consists of one rectangular piece of glass plus another piece of the same size with a cut made on the top edge leaving two "ears", one on each corner*.
  • A set of UN-NOTCHED glass plates consists of two rectangular pieces of the same width. One of the plates is 2.0cm shorter than the other. These plates should use rubber ears (sold separately, see below)
  • A set of BEVELED glass plates is a notched set where the glass is cut at a 45° angle between the "ears".

All notched glass plates are cut from 4½ mm stock. When ordering, give the catalog number of the apparatus that the glass plates are going to be used with, notched or un-notched (plain), set or single piece, or give the actual width and length you want the plates to be. GLASS PLATES CAN BE CUT TO USER SPECIFICATIONS. On custom plates, mention the depth and width of the notch.
