GEL APPARATUS
DOUBLE SIDED, FIXED SIZE SEQUENCING
These apparatus are similar to the "A" style. The top chamber
is placed between two faces and two supports which extend
into the bottom chamber allowing two gels to run at the same
time. The top chamber with its supports can be disconnected
from the bottom chamber for ease of clean up and compact storage.
All gel apparatus have the electrodes placed in a groove to
protect them during cleanup. Closed cell neoprene gaskets
are standard. Silicone rubber tube gaskets are available.
Bottom chambers on boxes over 30cm have a drain plug.
COMPLETE SETS include one gel apparatus with neoprene gaskets,
two sets of notched glass plates, two PVC flat bottom combs
of your choice with matching PVC spacers (for options see
the section on combs
and spacers),
one pair standard power leads and four clips.
